Hmmmm. With all due respect, bollux I'm afraid. He did his defensive bit by winning possession, tried to get past the last defender at top pace, and failed because of a last ditch tackle. Great play by the full back.

Great play from the fullback but a weak challenge from Aryibi. If he's talking bollux then so were several Town players who had a go at him afterwards. Aryibi's body language after said it all. He completely lacks awareness when committing to a challenge.

It's something I've criticised him for in the past, but in my opinion he just needed a toe end to get past him and he was in. That's what was on his mind.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Agree. On the highlights, he looked week on the ball when the ball was taken off him. You can see the exact same thing 5-6 times during 90 mins, fortunately not all ending in a goal against.

Arybi should have scored what could have been the winner. He ran at speed and found himself with a clear shot at goal midway between the penalty spot and six yard box with the only the 'keeper to beat. The ball was rolling and a powerful strike could have 'broken' the net.

Remarkably, he chose to pass to his left to a player with a defender in front of him. It was one of the worst decisions I have seen a player make for a long time. He knew it too, judging by his body language when the chance was wasted and the town fans, as one, let him know.

He needs to sort out his end game.

Frightened to have a go. I was shaking with rage when he did it - why??? In a sense, we are not the finished article yet under Wilson until he gets a proper go with pplayers fit and and his own players completely.

Well, we don't have to play 2 strikers.

Exactly- there no way a player would be made to play of injured as Valemadness suggested. (The PFA would have kittens)

We commented if we didn't know it was town you'd say we would go on to win it then the reality of being a town fan came home to smack us in the face when lady luck played her hand and took McGinn out of the game and resulting in the midfield being destroyed.

What's been said re McGinn's injury?

He's been carrying an injury (Wilko) but we've got no other fit strikers so he's had to play

Even so, he's played with guts and plent of passion, just wish Bolly and jay would return to the same.

Yes but it was on his left foot and it wasn't as clear in front of him as you indicate, may have been for a split second but that was all.

To be fair to LG he was played totally out of position with JOS offering no protection whatsoever.

He was on the ball long enough to make a decision to pass so why didn't he shoot instead - the obvious decision and he didn't make it. It was on his left foot but that is absolutely no excuse - any kind of connection and there was a good chance he would have scored. You are too kind Dave - you must be the only Town fan who wasn't astounded and angry that he didn't shoot.

This has to be the major incident that was on Wilson's mind when he expressed his frustration about the poor decision making.

And also to be fair he did play better second half but both goals came down the right - only going to be one winner isolated against Pope though for the decider.
