Technically, they didn't release him. His head was swayed to Juve by his agent. Man Utd received compensation.

This is the exact reason that we do not do well as a national team, It is time that the football league put a cap on transfer fees. But as it involves Mega Money this will never happen.
It is interesting to see Port Vale going overseas for players and introducing them to league one. Perhaps they should change the name of the English Football league to the International Football league.

To my mind the whole thing is completely and utterly bonkers. The divide between the lower leagues and the top guns has become almost unfathomable. Eventually the bread and butter end of the game will be squeezed out and clubs like ours will have to go semi pro if they're to survive. The influence of the Premier League is worryingly all pervasive.

PS. If only they'd just reach out to us by allowing their under 21 sides to participate in the old Johnstone's Paint Pot. That'd be a start and then we can invite their reserves to play in the Championship!!!!!!

Given them the boot myself - they've got no interest of anything outside their precious premiership .

Eleven players vs. Eleven players at the end of the day. Money doesn't count for everything - as Leicester showed everyone!

Fergie can't really complain...Man U swiped him from his original French club in an iffy deal to start with. They only got compensation I think after dragging the case through uefa/Fifa.

He then overlooked pogba and played Raphael and Park in central midfield instead against someone so pogba decided he had no future at United.

But when I tell you Paul Pogba = 2 Raheem Sterlings, it sounds like a bargain...
