Not a bad draw for us as gives us a chance to progress especially as Southampton will want to concentrate on the league and really we don't have much to play for. Won't go up or down. Hopefully a Saturday 3pm kick off as well. Would have been a good draw for you guys though so sorry about the last minute winner!

The most amazing thing is that Grigg outpaces Kyle Walker. I read an old interview with Will, and he said he went to a rugby playing school, he was small for the game, but luckily he was fast. Some proof there.

Which rugby code ? League because that is all running and body strength.
God I hate this league.

For what its worth it appears to be a Rugby Union school according to Wikipedia but Rugby Union is hardly all standing around by folk who arent strong!

Costly late goal that was, 3rd round prize money, full house and probable live TV, lost out on more than £200K

I was fully expecting a top flight premiership club just to rub it in.

The late goal cost us a replay, not any kind of guarantee of anything you're suggested. The only thing he late goal cost us was half the gate receipts of a replay.

History suggests lower teams get one chance against higher opposition, and replays usually go the way of the higher placed team.

Its like saying West Broms late equaliser cost us in a similar way and we know what happened in the replay.

Their late goal was an equalizer though, so without it we would have gone through.

Azul was suggesting that Watfords late goal cost us victory and progression in the cup, which it clearly didn't.

Yep you're right but as you mentioned previously it rarely happens on the second go in a replay for the lower level side.

Totally different in that union is a slow stop start game overall. For instance ball direct into touch , scrimmage, line outs whereas league is fast and more of a passing game. Union the refs are always having to explain decisions to players which invariably means the game has stopped again.
God I hate this league.

Perhaps I should have said late goals

Anxiously waiting your definition of a late goal (not)
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

Grigg, too slow 🥴,only greyhounds and speeding bullets beat Kyle Walker. I know it's a few years back, but our Will has scared the odd goalkeeper recently with his closing down.
