The fact it still needs to be said in this day and age is pretty much beyond me... -

Of course. The Lib Dems.
For balance if the Lib Dems win I?ll donate ?1000 to Ashgate Hospice
Win any seats, as the way they are going they will get less share than the Reform party - and given the quality of the opposition that is an appalling performance, given its an ABC election
Not had one piece of literature nor do I know who their candidate is in my constituency. It seems their fair deal wants to freeze train ticket prices - no mention how they will pay for it - and give the vote to 16 year olds - so it looks like Labour nicked that one . They also want to scrap CGT tax free allowance - which I'd agree with. But the rest is wishy washy words...
They havent ruled out a coalition with Labour which of course might put off lots of voters! -

Yep I heard him. Good when scripted; ok when questioned about the strike (but yep we?ll negotiate with the Drs was dull) but about Abbott he was squirming, deflecting and poor.
The state of politics today. For balance: Labour AND Tory.
For balance AND Lib Dem. Is Davey going for the MRLP vote...? -

Said I'd apologise if she was cleared - so here goes... Apologies Angela for doubting you.
Of course, had you come out and explained which of the two possible options it was early on then we wouldnt have been through this farce. And of course you still havent said whether you somehow found a way to make the CGT payable zero (in which case technically CGT was due but the amount was zero) or you were already separated from Mr Raynor as the only way a married couple can have two PPRs is if the marriage has broken down and steps being taken to separate permanently
The former is of course easiest... its just an entry on a spreadsheet... -

That you accuse people of turning everything to be about labour. Then turn continuously everything to be about the Tories. Like The Labour Party continues to do.
So Labour cant have policies because the country is broke? Odd one. Now is the time for bold not bland.
I?ll agree with you on the thread. Something I?ll admit I?m guilty of. I just hope everyone can do the same.
Stayed away because it was dull and becoming more so. Enjoy the week.
I'm with you on the bold not bland, and come on EoC, every time a Tory Minister has a sh1t, its disected (not literally) on here and fault found. Even Sunak doing what you wanted and calling an election was criticised as the weather intervened....

05 Jul 2023 - 20:10Sorry to bother you. I believe you worked for a hotel chain in London and previously had access to discount codes.
It’s a bit of a long shot and very last minute. But could you let me know if this is still the case.
I only ask as my part is due to go to London on Friday and the hotel she was booked into has canceled last minute.
Thanks
