Interesting that the rest of Europe is moving more right wing from more left wing govts and we are going the other way, maybe it says that the last few years were not the years to be in power...

Although of course I say we are moving left whereas it could be reform that gets the support.....

I think we are only going the other way because the last few years have taken us the other way. Make no mistake there?s no real appetite for a Starmer led government, it?s a million miles away from the elation the country felt when Blair was elected in 97, and look how he turned out? It really is ABC. And that won?t bode well.

clearly that is what the public want...and better to be in power doing something, than in opposition achieving nothing... maybe!

It?s such a paradox, Labour are going to walk it yet, by and large the country doesn?t really want a Starmer Labour government.

Alan Hansen, very ill in hospital. Here's hoping he pulls through. A great centre back and I used to love to listen to him on MOTD.

Much better than some of the dross we have to listen to today. Hope he pulls through.

Surprised to see Lancashire available at 5/4 to beat dreadful Notts at Trent Bridge today. Well worth a dabble.

Good call..won with 9 balls to spare!
