I like the lesser known sports getting recognised in these awards, Skelton a worthy winner.
I would have given the team award to the GB women's hockey team instead of Leicester as well, yes what Leicester did was incredible but virtually none of that team will give a crap about spoty.
I would have probably given the top award to max whitlock as well.

Mixed thoughts about Murray winning it as whilst you cannot argue about his performances over the year winning Wimbledon, Olympic Gold and being world number 1 at the same time he could potentially win it any year so good chance this year for it to go to one of the contenders who in reality only get a real chance every 4yrs to really be in the public eye and have their performances noted in a big way. Any one of the olympic\paralympic contenders could have won it and deserved to do so.

(I'm sure partially at least) because the lass who scored the winning hockey penalty is from Belper, the local hockey club saw a bit of a surge in interest, causing them to boot us out of our 6-a-side slot on their weekly hockey pitch. I haven't played since. So sod the GB Women's Hockey team and I vote Lestoh.

That's all about money, about half a dozen countries that get money pumped into Paralympics
90% of the planet can't afford to feed themselves so don't go overboard on helping disabled athletes
That's why we clean up

That's true- the GB Paralympic team is massively funded.
Also the fact they use ex services in their talent I'd process means they get fit motivated athletes.
Have to question it a bit though- the Paralympic showjumper-how many compete around the world - a handful, yet she got thousands more votes than Willet, Nicola Adams, Vardy, Bale, Whitlock and the Kenneys!

Hmm.....bit harsh on someone who has suffered a stroke and consequently was diagnosed with MS. To be able to perform at two completely different disciplines and win despite her disabilities trumps what ever her mental capacity to retain facts is.
