I see Bolton are trying to sign another striker I would like to see us go in for Craig Davis for 6 months or the season.

Must be highly thought of to get a 4 yr deal - The games I saw him in were dissapointing and didnt look any better than what we have in the squad

He comes across as being anything other than a big time Charlie. A very level headed and grounded young lad

Depends how much his new contract means he is being paid and what % of it Derby would want us to pay. With £2.5m to play with plus the supposed wealthy arab involvement United are in a position to spend a few quid before you even get to the Clough connection.

So #sufc expected to complete a double signing from #dcfc soon. A permanent transfer for Keiron Freeman and 6-month loan for Mason Bennett.

Exactly
I really dont get the "big time charlie" comments... Also, if the guys is supposed to be a striker then perhaps its fairer to comment on his performances after we give him some time playing him as such....
It's all immaterial now anyway.

His loan didn't work out great last year and two people have to take responsibility for that; Paul Cook and Mason Bennet. Mason is an out and out striker but 'cause of his pace he played almost all of his time here on the wing (or on the bench)and PC totally wasted him imo. When he came on at Half time at Scabs he played down the middle, off Richards and was ripping them apart. Unfortunately 20 minutes later he bought on Doyle and pushed Mason on the wing again and he was anonymous. If Cooky had played him as the out and out striker ( and lets face it none of the others were doing enough to command the role) I think he would have done well and we might have had a good chance of getting him back on loan this season.
Masons attitude is generally good but he did get the sulks on at playing out of position, he wasn't happy, I know this and his body language said as much. You could put his sulks down to his age but personally even though out of position I think he could applied himself more.
