Close it'd be an oil rig, be funny if we had a nodding donkey in the carpark, we'd have to paint it in Mansfield colours!

Sorry. That's utter bolx. Price of Oil has gone from $50 a barrel in Dec 2020 to $115 a barrel.

Actually, a litre of oil is currently £0.61p based on $120 a barrel, so it is actually relatively cheap per litre.

The reason why prices are high is the government take an additional 46% (per litre of petrol) as fuel duty and VAT per litre of petrol.

We’re talking oil here not fuel for the car. You then have to refine oil to produce fuel….

All because they are using the invasion in Ukraine as an excuse, same for the gas prices, don't we only get 5% of our natural gas from Russia, not sure about the oil tho, but I'd bet its not that much after the Salisbury thing.
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

Definitely a factor. But was high way before the invasion as demand is continuing to rise

I hope they'll set up a time lapse photo system.
Heroic goal is to attend a home match then watch a world cup match straight after.

we might not, but as no one else wants to the demand for non Russian gas and oil goes up and therefore so does the price....

What makes me laugh is energy companies who use non fossil fuel / renewable sources have bunged their prices up.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!
