    I tend to agree with Martin Samuel who is one of the few journalists who maintains that FFP rules were devised to keep the traditional big clubs at the top and make sure other clubs can?t challenge them

    If that said business owner joined a golf club or a trade organisation he would have to adhere to their rules and regulations or be booted out. The same goes for Man City. If they want to be in the "club" then they agree to the rules, if they don't like the rules they shouldn't have joined.
