I'm not so sure it does, the social distancing thing will be reduced from 2 to 1m in the next month imho, in times for pubs etc opening on they 4th of July and also to get more folks into the shops spending. Then assuming no real second spike it'll be removed altogether early August.

They might make masks compulsory as you will be sitting next to somebody for a couple of hours and social distancing getting to seats, bogs, bar etc will be difficult.

How about the club shop selling Spire-ite masks? would make a few quid I reckon.

But it’s simple ideas like this that make total sense! Either a washable face mask or a pack of ‘CFC logo’ disposable masks

And where will they be disposed? Who’s going to police mask wearing, especially when a goal is scored and a penalty denied? The only masks we’ll see at football games here will be on the cardboard cut outs. The one precedent we have so far is in NZ, where’s there’s no restrictions as the virus is no longer present there.

It would be difficult to police but stocking washable masks bearing the CFC badge in the Club shop could be a saleable product and being washable could discourage supporters from just disposing of them like McDonald's litter louts.

If I have to wear a mask to do anything I consider normal I won't be doing it.

The answer to this is surely the invention of a reusable Spectator PPE mask that must be worn in public and has a strict procedure involving thoroughly cleansing of hands and mask on removal.

Put Mike Ashley and F1 inventors together and see what they can do. I'd pay a fair price for the privilege, given the freedom that it would bring if it were a quality product that rendered any seperation rule unnecessary.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

The one obvious subject which appears to be missing from those links is what protection they offer and what European safety standards they meet, the answer is f' all. Any football club opening up their stadiums and insisting supporters wear those are doing it for commercial reasons and not for supporter safety. Save your money.

Don't understand your answer!!!

But, where I live, if you walked round the lanes during lockdown and compared it to before then after McD's opened you would see what I mean. You would basically know they had opened just by seeing the amount of litter thrown out of car windows rather than the occupants taking it home with them.

I assume they think they are clever just discarding their litter in this way whilst their lack of respect just creates work for others and endangers wildlife.

So, to pull together hundreds of posts on this and other threads we've no idea when we'll re-start, no idea what division we'll be in, no idea who we'll be playing, no idea who'll be playing for us, no idea how many punters can watch them and no idea who'll be in charge.

Okay, that's cleared that up, then...

We'll be in the National League that's clear. Barrow and Chorley won't be. Kings Lynn and Wealdstone will be.

23 of the teams are pretty much confirmed - just missing who goes up via the play offs and who comes down out of Stevenage/Macc.

Can't see them relegating 4 teams to allow York/Havant up despite them pushing for this - as much as i'd like that as they're two better trips than Maidenhead/Ebbsfleet.

We will be in the National League. The season will start in September - whether or not we're allowed in to watch it is another thing.

Usually in June we don't have any idea who will be playing for us so nothing has changed then, and I think we're all fairly sure Pemberton will be in charge.

If Kings Lynn and Wealdstone come up and only Chorley go down, will that not leave NLS a team less?

I think we have to start in order to protect promotion of Barrow and a n other. Fans or no fans.

It looks like that to me. They could move either Kidderminster or Brackley though, quite easily, leaving the vacancy in the North.
