Tommy Lee, Brewster, dimaio, McGinn & Mitchell all down to take part.
Presumably, another step in Tommy getting fit? Or maybe a shop window for someone?

Getting Tommy fit and getting him and the others game time. Not much of a shop window for the others, if someone wants to buy any of them it will be based on previous games not whether they impress against Handsworth, as if they don't .....

Tommy will be gone when fit, one way or another.

If Tommy isn't fit why is he on the bench?
If Tommy's unfit and he's on the bench, imagine how being Dylan Parkin feels?
If Tommy isn't fit how does he even do the warm-up?
Has anyone ever met a goalkeeper from now or any time in the past who thought he'd let in a goal because he hadn't warmed up properly?
Has anyone ever kept goal in a match at any level and done as much as keepers do in the warm-ups these days?
Is there anyone other than GC who thinks Joe Anyon is in the same street as Tommy Lee as a keeper?
We're playing our ONLY keeper, arguably our most capable defender, our only midfielder who seems to understand what is required at least, the only two players in the team who can run ........ so surely we'll play German, the only one likely to score.
If it turns out to be a shop window we'll at least be able to consolidate at the bottom of the league without any of them.

I can see TL will feature sooner rather that later in the first 11.
GC has started with Anyon as TL still needs to get some match time and build up his fitness (via friendlies and training during the week).
It would have been foolish to just chuck Tommy straight back into the thick of it.

That sounds about right to me.

Dimaio knows where he should be and what he should be trying to do in midfield. He can't always, or even often, do it though. None of the others are really worth a light, though Weir probably knows what is happening until his brain runs out of oxygen as his body is consumed by lactic ....
Good that you could recognise the only two players who can actually run without any prompting. Well done.
