It doesn't matter who you was replying to. If you mention a poster by name, you should expect said poster to enter the conversation.

Thanks for trying to enlighten me, pity you had the attempt and not CPS. However having said that, it doesn't support many of his claims he's made on this thread apart from 'most injuries are safe to walk off with' but that doesn't really take an article to work that out as we watch that happening every week. What are conspicuous by their absence are the majority of his claims. I won't bore you by listing them all but this one is one of my favourite.....

In response to Mr Mercury's 'A broken ankle wouldn’t merit a stretcher?', CPS replied 'No not ordinarily, unless a compound fracture'.

I had a look on the internet but failed, so perhaps you could have another look for actual Guidelines.

Don't particularly care whether he enters the conversation or not - just thought I'd let hime know I wasn't taking his bait (again)

We certainly do- we so miss someone with pace up front. Hopefully at least Berry will be fit to play on Tuesday.

I think we need someone at the back with pace too, especially for next season, so I hope Freckleton stays, one way or another.

Do you think that one defender with pace is enough? Personally I would think at least two.

Freckleton looked mediocre bang average playing wide.
When he impressed me was when he covered for Grimes' sending off stint - Freckleton's natural position. He looked a player

Horton isn't slow, but his pace is negated by him playing so high up the pitch. Getting two central defenders who can defend, have pace and can play out from the back is going to be a big ask. I wish we could play Grimes in jet boots, but some opposition manager would moan 😆.

I think we desparately need Freckleton back in at centre back alongside Grimes.
Williams or Palmer are not the answer,

Has Freckleton and Grimes played as a CB pairing at all this season, their both left sided so I doubt it...
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

No I’m not.
A player doesn’t have to leave at the nearest point. A physio can overrule a referee is any circumstance relating to player safety (at all levels).
Agreed it may have helped to have a couple of people carry him off - but if a player walks off by his own volition he always will be encouraged to do so (as the injury following the initial short triage period would look as though it wouldn’t be bad to do so).
A stretcher if available would only be used for lower leg fractures or other (worse) conditions)- but only if suitable trained staff are pitchside. An ankle injury would never really merit a stretcher at any level

I’m confused…. Didn’t the Liverpool player get stretched off this afternoon with an ankle injury?!

Obviously Liverpool’s medical team didn’t follow guidelines and the player was a bit nesh.

And Wembley have the finances to afford a stretcher!!
Derbyshire is Derbyshire
Yorkshire is Yorkshire
