Gone very quiet and I suspect that’s likely it. There was this hour long video on YouTube by some journos looking into it which showed it up to what it was but the league lot just said nowt and that was that.

No appetite by the National league to challenge their boss who made sure he got his very big slice of the cake . Enquiries cost money and he knew there wasn’t the money about to fund it.

Everyone who could, was on the make during the worst of COVID (it hasn't gone away) and then there were us at the coalface. The amount of dodgy deals done in the name of the pandemic, should be an utter embarrassment to those in front and behind them but where's there's no feeling, there's no sense of justice either.

misappropriation? Theft? strong accusations and could be deemed defamatory...

The league divided up the money in one way which could have been applied. There were others and you and I may consider them "fairer" but given there is no rule to say how, the division was voted upon by the board of the NL I assume, its hard to say theft or misappropriation... theft is taking someones property, so you would have to show it was that persons property, misappropriation is embezzlement or the use of another persons property causing them harm, so again you would have to show it was the other persons property..

I imagine that would mean the main winners were the lawyers... if you feel like cracking on and hiring lawyers to resolve, feel free, but life is too short in my view. The other clubs should make sure those board members are voted out at the first available opportunity and ensure it doesnt happen again...

You only have to watch the investigation documentary on the link I posted earlier to see how much they shut up shop and did t say anything to people investigating it. Not sure there is much more a lonely DT journalist can do after that.

What could be interesting if / when we get out of this league, we may not be expected to tow the line anymore and maybe our representative on the NL (whatever its called) may be in a position to "spill the beans" on all, what now makes the NL carpet look like a relief map of the Himalayas.

Get the beans spilled. Do we have to keep our council anymore?
