Hi missed a couple of absolute sitters as well!

He’s past his sell by date IMO and seems to be struggling injury wise.

At his age he needs to be playing regularly and I’m not sure he’s going to get enough game time.

Not sure why you have deliberately picked Colclough out there.

I’ve seen Colclough put a shift in on a regular basis and help his full back out with his defensive duties.

My only criticism of Ryan is that I feel he should be doing better with his end product.

It should be noted that he was regularly chosen ahead of young Duffy and there must be a reason for that as Duffy was regularly on the bench and fit to play. Now, why do you think that was?

I’ve must have been watching a different player. Disinterested at times, ineffective, not helping his full back, never warming up at half time when on bench?

Talented, yes but frankly he’s no world beater.

My view is that whilst they spoke well it was what they said about hard work and wanting to play football that impressed me.

The player interviews with the three signings was impressive as we have signed young but experienced players who are hungry for success and know how hard league 2 will be.

A couple more new signings, better injury luck and a determined philosophy is what we need this coming season.

Anyone who says we will easily win the League knows nothing about football. It’s going to be hard but with the players we are signing we have a good chance of doing well.

RyannColclough take note. Hard work is required!

    Hi Paul,
I live in Manchester too in the week myself, my home is currently Rugby although originally from Chesterfield and I am a season ticket holder.
Would you like to share a lift when convenient to us both?
The trip from Manchester to Chesterfield is awful, I can make the game quicker from Rugby to Chesterfield and it is nearly twice the distance.
