Genuinely impressive numbers tbh. Serious question is there a cracking offer on, are the people now returning to follow their home town club, or a bit of both?

    I think there's a few factors.
Attendances are up in general across the whole EFL - a 70 year high according to this: https://bit.ly/3r9CI15
Our academy programs are going from strength to strength with 20 odd teams at the moment and I think this is making new supporters out of families with kids that are playing. There's definitely a lot more families in attendance than I've ever known. The club has also made the junior prices more attractive after years of them being prohibitively high.
I think the economic climate could perversely be increasing sales, people being a bit more savvy with their money and taking the hit upfront and saving over the long term, plus it's much easier these days to fund a purchase interest free and pay it back over the year.
The atmosphere at games, home and away, has been brilliant for a few season now. Win or lose there's a growing core of young(ish) fans that will sing for near on 90 minutes.
There seems to be a feeling of stability around the place (insert been in L2 for 10 years quip!), and the last couple of seasons on the pitch have shown we're not far off challenging.
And I still feel there was a lost generation of fans through not just the conference years (and i know your crowds have held up admirably well) but the Haslam years before that too. Maybe we're seeing the end of that now.
Whatever it is it's nice to see and long may it continue.

Very true Ernie. Home fan capacity will be not far off full for most games. Very annoying when the likes of Sutton will bring 100 fans and leave 1700 empty seats which for one reason or another we just cant make use of.
If only we had some way of increasing capacity in our 3 sided ground.
    It's a headscratcher.

So you think cheating is acceptable in sport? Fair enough.

I don’t and I cringe when I see it. I suppose we have to accept each others view but for me, if Dobra goes I’m ok with that.

I wouldn't accept his view at all.
I'm with you 100%. What a sorry state the national game is in when cheating is not only accepted but encouraged.
The thing I really don't understand is why the authorities allow it to continue.
It could be completely taken out of the game if the FA introduced retrospective bans for simulation / unsportsmanlike conduct.

    Yeah defo in for him.
We can draw our own conclusions as to why he's gone to North Derbyshire.
If you're a Stags fan then he's chasing the $ and you've paid too much for him.
If you're a Spireite then you've bagged an absolute cracking signing.
I'm of the belief that both those scenarios could be true.
