But on the other side apparently Sir Kier wants to scrap the law that ensures minimum service levels on railways, in schools, and in hospitals during strikes. That will play well in the middle class commuter belts. Sounds more like Corbyn and the 2017 manifesto in parts than a party that has changed...

And still Unite cant back the manifesto apparently - it seems they have seen it when the voting public havent.

According to an article I saw the other day the main union bods sit in on the Labour manifesto meeting, Clause V I think it’s called. It might have been in the Mail, so it could be wrong!

That is exactly it, they have to endorse the manifesto before its published.... imagine if a Tory donor had to do that! Apparently Unite wont.....and that brings me back to my boring regular point, 80% of what you want and in power is better than 100% and just in opposition. Maybe this time, because of the polls, they are confident they can go for all the stuff they want and still win...?
