Better than a thread as it's easier to see the results and how much backing he still has.

It is my personal belief that the only sensible time to sack a manger is at the end of a season, it gives time for the new manager to build HIS team during the close season. :)
Fight for your opinions, but do not believe that they contain the whole truth, or the only truth.

The problem was and is the four year contract, I think as Sheridan's brief for this season was just to keep us in this division, Allen won't act until he fails in this. It could (should) be that such a failure means he can be dismissed with a much reduced severance.

The problem with this poll is that you can only vote once, my vote at the moment would not be to sack him, but this may change at the end of this month if rumours & quotes are not seen. If we continue with this 'tosh football' for the rest of January, then my opinion would change.

Thanks for last season John & co but results and performances of all concerned on and off the field mean its time to go. You have lost the fans and the dressing room so please go now with some dignity and still with the good wishes of the majority for your efforts last year.

I've never been a fan of his, but I am big enough to say the same and it just goes to show you when so many of his real supporters are saying the same thing.

i would only say no because i think its too late/expensive to get rid of Sheridan. There should be an option to state this otherwise it looks as though 50% actually back sheridan which i don't

get your votes in now as I propose to close this on Friday at 5pm as it's a "should he be sacked now" question.

another snapshot of opinion can take place at a later date

It's hardly a large proportion of our message board users that have voted, yet. And it's not a massive sway in favour of him being sacked or not.
