I know his collapse was mentioned in the Hartlepool thread...

He collapsed before in the Championship playoff final - atrial fibrillation, and being treated subsequently.

He has now had a cardiac arrest in the Luton - Bournemouth game today.

We all wish him well surely, but he needs to take a hint and will probably retire I expect.

Yep, you've gotta wish the lad well, and hope he's gunna take the advice of the medical professionals treating him, a 3rd time he might not be so lucky..

The alarming thing is that after the first episode he was deemed fit to resume his career. I guess somethings are well hidden.

I’m interested to hear cps’ views on this matter as he clearly has expert knowledge and inside information on this subject. Hope Tom Lockyer makes a full recovery

No knowledge on him or his history at all I’m afraid.
If it’s AF it’s a condition (not uncommon in sports) which would need monitoring but wouldn’t mean he’s have to give up.
The actual training and game experience is no more threat to him or others as it would mean a healthy lifestyle (about as healthy as you can get - being a pro footballer).
I guess the clubs have to weigh up things like medical cover and insurance etc.
I’d imagine there’s gonna be a lot of nonsense re. Jabs etc though as a backlash which isn’t helpful to anyone

It’s not helpful that every time somebody in their 40s or 50s suddenly collapses with a blood clot people get called conspiracy theorists for just asking questions.

If these booster shots aren’t causing these sudden deaths then why don’t they tell us what is.

There loadsa people on the ‘died suddenly’ list these days, not just celebrities and footballers, we all know people that wouldn’t be dead now if they’d not been boosted and there’s no point in getting angry at the pure bloods who were proven correct all along.

People wanted to keep their jobs and go abroad so they got duped and went along with it, the majority of people regret getting vaccinated anyway whether they admit it or not, this next year there’ll be loads more of em, you mark my words.

Absolute blox, do you know all these people who 'suddenly died' had been boosted, or even had the jabs you talk about, ?? No you don't but it fits your conspiracy bullshìt narrative so you go with that ..

Keep spouting the bollòx nobody believes it anyway.

You've been repeatedly asked for statistics to back up this claim that "loads of" people are suddenly dropping dead from blood clots as a result of being vaccinated for covid and have spectacularly failed to provide anything except tired conspiracy theories and lazy generalisations. If you have some stats then let's debate them, otherwise, I'd suggest, that this type of intervention just looks a bit pathetic.

More young footballers dying of heart problems than thought. FA study. 2018. Years before Covid or vaccines.

I didn’t get jabbed pal, that’s probably why I’m not as bitter as you, I was making a few observations, but if your not happy with my freedom to post my thoughts why don’t you go crying to the mods like you usually do.

The charity CRY was set up in 1996. Must have been formed in readiness for Covid jabs?

There’s a whole lot of research by sports governing bodies (which is wise as could potentially save lives or costly law suits etc etc).
Absolutely not one bit of evidence found that a jab has caused any effect.
