I suspect many had the same reaction when we signed James Berry ?
That didn't work out too badly , did it ?

He plays centrally. Think Jamie Vardy. That's the style for want of a better description.

Good luck lad.
Purely based on that video, good movement. Good finisher.

Really?
Surely the only way you'll know whether you're right or wrong is to reserve judgement until you've actually see him play for us a few times.

Simple fact is that every incoming at our level isn’t going to be in the Naylor, Grigg bracket, they’ll always be a few “speculate to accumulate” deals. Berry was one Jez was one, some you win, some you lose, it could even be argued that Super Kev was a speculative signing!

Completely agree…I’m excited by his potential from watching a few of his games from last season. If we bring in a blend of EFL experience alongside young, hungry exciting talent like Drummond before the season starts it’s going to be another great season I believe!

If, as a mate told me who's seems to be in the know,he can play up front, on the wing and behind the striker. Looking at the YouTube clip shows he has good movement, a turn of speed and intelligence on and off the ball. If he can't blossom with the coaching team we have, then he isn't going to make it, but I think it's a great signing without too much outlay on wages.

We want pace and goals up front, this is what Drummond brings albeit from a lower standard. Let's hope it works out better than Gyasi, but it's not the end of the world if it doesn't.
The bear bones of the contract sound win/win for both parties, so let's see what this lad can do.
I'm excited to see him pre season and his pace. Like some one said in an earlier post, looks like he has a touch of Vardy in his play
