Cannot make the game tonight due to work commitments, hoping for (and expecting) a comfortable night with no need for nail biting. Even without a couple of members of the squad, the strength we have in our should see us be too strong for Woking.

Similar, will be watching NLTV on my phone while getting battered at snooker at The Welcome Institute in deepest Sutton in Ashfield!

Luckily, with Mansfield being at home there shouldn't be any of their fans in there so no inoculations needed.

What has grimes done to Woking? Their fans really seem to hate him.

I've had him as 1st and last scorer and to score anytime because of this hatred they have

So is Tom sorting out the run out music and half time entertainment on the decks?

Think the weather may put a lot off tonight. Not looking good. Many may choose to have a cosy night in but we are still leading the avg attendance table

throw in 4 home games in January, Watford away. I imagine we may just scrape over 6k tonight.

I used to hate that when I was working, because the ISA got a hammering in January 🤔. There's a lot to say for weekly pay, especially for those poor sods who live hand to mouth.

Hope the weather doesn't play a part in our first home defeat. At any rate I can't see it being a good game. Don't want to come over all Brittas and Walton but I'd be happy with a 1-0 win or even a draw.

Maybe old Walton means it could be a leveller. Shouldn’t be if we get our passing game going.

Lots of big companies now use systems where hourly paid staff can access a portion of their pay early - before month end - for a small fee. Definitely cheaper than overdrafts and loan sharks for those that dont have an ISA to fall back on!

I think its a long month for everyone - and then grandson number 3 was born in Jan so had the joy of his first birthday this weekend.... which is a joy but another bill!

Never ceases to amaze me how many 'contributors' to these forums don't actually go to games.

...and then have the strongest of opinions that should not be questioned?

For what it’s worth, I think that Quigs might start tonight (with Grigg returning on Saturday), and under the rotation policy, the “three” for tonight could be those who finished the last game, ie Mandeville, Banks and Berry.
