Cant seem to post via Chrome either on my phone or Windows Browser. Have to use Opera now.

At what point do we recognise this board is not really fit for purpose anymore. I appreciate that changes mean moving away from the perpetual license but lots of people have been willing to chip in. I've even said if something can be priced up and its not outrageous I'll pay for it.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Clear your cookies for the site and relog in, it's worked for me on both my laptop and my Android tablet.

I also can't post via Chrome now, can't even log in. Had to use a different browser for this

If you are having issues with Chrome clear the browsing history, that seems to have worked for others. Using a different browser is effectively the same as starting fresh(ish) in Chrome by getting rid of old browsing data. If you know what your are slightly doing you can just clear the data related to thecfss.co.uk i think and not touch other stuff.

Edge isn't doing it for me, although Firefox is still letting me play.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Still doesn't get away from the fact that site is far from fit for purpose currently.

Can I just say to those who keep saying clear your browsing history and clear your cookies etc.

It’s not working for everyone (including me). For once I agree with TF. This message board technology has had its day.

Time to get it fixed properly or move on to something else.

Mine suddenly stopped working on chrome. Tried deleting history, cookies etc but no luck. If you're reading this, Firefox seems to have worked for me

Really is time this was fixed. I'm using FF to get round it.

New versions of Chrome probably have the issue which makes me think that a board software upgrade might be needed

Chrome now says that the site is insecure.

When I try to login, I can't with Chrome...

This appears to point to the issue described here...

https://invisioncomm...n-after-update/

I suspect that the site needs to be properly converted to https, with a certificate.

If you click the "Not secure" icon next to the url bar and open up site settings. You can then set "Insecure content" to "Allow"

This worked for me

Quick one on this. Had some fun and games with the site via both Edge and Chrome (basically the same browser these days mind you as Edge is based on Chrome) and while clearing cookies etc allows you to sign in and read stuff ok it wouldnt let me post. However i've found that if you scroll towards the bottom of the board there is a little drop down box where you can choose what theme you want to use with the website. If you switch to the "IP.Board Mobile" option so you view it as you would on a Mobile Phone then it lets you post with no issues.

Unable to post via Chrome, Opera and Edge, all due to secure site issues. Had to install Firefox just to get this message across. At what point do we agree this site isnt fit for purpose and you accept help from those that have offered?

SSL cert must so old Moses uses it to connect to his tablets of stone.
