Well we know for sure they won't sit back. According to their post match interview last game they think the way to beat us is to attack especially as they now have Sbarra back, so Cookie will need to pick the team with this in mind. This could turn out to be a tricky game it will certainly be a needle match as we owe them one for getting Jamie sent off. Save the New years eve fireworks for tomorrow after we give them a pasting.

They came at us for the first 10 minutes on Boxing Day then sat back the rest of the game and gave us no space in their 3rd. I’d imagine they’ll try and do the same tomorrow.

That's why IMO, Cooky should have Dobra starting. If they try pushing up from the kick-off, Dobra and Colclough will rip them apart.

Think they will be thinking more about conceding than what they can get out of the game.

A win for the spireite is still not a fore gone conclusion.

Patience tomorrow people and give em hell when ever the occasion presents itself.
God I hate this league.

I think it will be a difficult game, they'll come and have a go at us early on and hope to score first and then park the bus. We need to be on it from the off. Avoid any confrontation as they will be after getting one of ours sent again.
We need an early goal to mess their plans up. This could be a pivotal game for us. I don't see a huge win like many think it will be. Any win will do, nothing less though.

I seem to recall their manager telling his players to ' get in their faces' . Scrubby club.

So much of our good forward play goes through dobra. He should be first pick in that attacking 4.

Let's hope we get a good referee for this fixture if there are any in this league.

Exactly, we need to tread carefully today, their tactics worked on boxing day so they're not likely to change them.

Why would you want to make them feel at home?

The crowd is especially important today - "give 'em hell "- couldn't have thought of a better way of putting it .

Ref has done 13 games this season. 45 yellows, 1 red. Never reffed us before. 9 home team wins, 3 draws, 1 away win under his watch. Might be a 'homer', might be easily influenced?
Here we go again!

The performance last Tuesday was no different to most others this season.

It's just, as their manager admitted in his very fair summation, the home goal led "a charmed life".

Same level of domininance will surely result in a Town win...

PS: any reason the DT thread has Jones missing from the predicted squad?

Fans can play a part by being vocal about anything their players do, their reactions to things etc. see it a lot with refs reacting to the crowd for things.

He did his first EFL game a couple of weeks ago so marks will be essential. Be interesting to see how he reacts if soilyhull are in a position were they have to create a bit of a brawl. Or will soilyhull tone it down with it being on TV?

They will come to 'rough us up' they've already said they've gotta make it physical, I'd expect a few booking if we don't keep our heads, hopefully we get a strong ref that doesn't let them get away with too much, but in this league we know they are few and far between .
all we are saying, is give us ...a goal, or 2+

I feel that Freckleton, if played, really needs to show what he's made of today. I like the lad, and really want him to succeed here. According to my blade loving brother, Freckleton may not get another gig at United, so it's in his own interest to push on here.
He sometimes looks like a rabbit in car headlights, but he's played enough games this season to realise he has to push himself starting today, if he plays.
We have a squad good enough for the top end of league 2, so I'm hoping for us to put this shower to the sword in the first half,COYB.
