no point moaning, either buy one or don't - if you buy one you get a big saving on paying match by match and with less TV money, no EFL parachute payment and the requirement for funds to improve the team and mount a title challenge the increase isn't really unexpected

I'll exercise my right to moan.

After a diabolical season(following on from the 3 previous), the club deem it appropriate to hike up the already overpriced match day experience. Astonishingly poor decision. As if the fans haven't been shat on enough already.

Still. At least Mr.Bean will be able to afford some astro turf and a few pictures to decorate the 'supporters bar'.

Here's the main issue from his interview with the DT :-

"The other thing we have to balance up is that when we dropped from the Football League we got a parachute payment of about £600,000 and this year the parachute payment will only be in the region of £300,000."

£300,000 is a big chunk to fill unless DA coughs up for it.

Stupid of them to put parachute payments in the budget knowing full well you might not have a big chunk of that money next season. Set a budget you can actually live with and use the payments to improve the club infrastructure.

Parachute payments shouldn't exist in any league, it's about time teams lived within their means. Nearly a million over two seasons is ridiculous and gives non league teams a major disadvantage when trying to get in the league. Fans shouldn't have to be the ones who pay because the football league stop spoonfeeding the club money.

That said the value is still decent enough
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!

DA should be coughing up. He and the staff he employed have led us to the NL. 20% is a big increase considering we are still non league. Two sideshow geeks were appointed by him as managers, all best players sold and we're paying the price!

Have to agree on this. £50 is a heck of an increase on the back of a season spent mostly languishing towards the bottom of the National League. I'll not be rushing to renew.

For me sat in the East Stand, if I renew early it’s an increase of £56.. if I don’t renew early (1st of July onwards I think that would be) it increases by £137!

For what we’ve had to put up with over the last 3 years any increase is an insult.
In my mind it’s another case of ‘it’s the fans fault we’re still in non league, it’s the fans fault we’ll get less parachute payments, it’s the fans fault shez is on big bucks’ ☹️

That's essentially the main reason for the increase, effectively fans are paying half assuming 3,000 season ticket holders

Don’t forget about your right to first dibs on any oversubscribed away tickets.

Not a move that's gonna endear the club to us suffering fans. That said, if it helps Shez get us out of this mind-blowingly awful league next season then I'll be renewing.

Are the prices higher than they were in the League One relegation season?

My lotto won't get me discount because I'm cancelling it and not renewing my ST either. Given the garbage we have witnessed for 4 years a one penny increase would have been too much...

Commercially this will be a financial disaster for them if they lose a 1000 ST holders and they will ! After 50 years this is the straw that has broke the camel's back....they simply don't have a clue!

I'm surprised they've done this given the slight turn around in recent months.

-The reappointment of Sheridan.
-Bean making attempts to build bridges.
-On field turnaround.
-Carson's move to stage left.

This, given the financial black hole Allen has dug himself seems a rather pointless and hurtful grab at those who've been loyal/daft enough to pay up front.

The club is living on Promises, we promise to make an effort, however we cant guarantee this promise will result in promotion, but please can we have your money anyway.

The Poo hits the fan at CFC and as usual its the fans who are expected to cough up for it, a lot of fans will be picking and choosing games again, an only bothering if we go top 3.

I personally think season tickets should come in 2 halves, if after 23 games we are top 3, the price remains the same, if not, the fans get a set refund.

Shocked at this to be honest.

What is the % of the increase then?

Is it around 15% or there abouts? Now I hope I’m completely off the mark with this, and if not, I’m shocked at the percentage it’s increased by, all things considering.
