The club are to announce that the new ground plans are on target and going to plan, when the 14 month demolition is completed they will then begin the process of designing the ground after 2 CFSS votes to choose the desired design, the club will then enter into a consultation period with the council which is expected to consist of 12 meetings over 2 years if these are successful then negotiations with W Bowden for the land which should take no longer than 2 years, a plan then will be submitted to the council and a series of local meeting with the general public to voice their opinions and all issues to be ratified, if there are no objections or appeals the board would then attempt to raise the finance to fund the venture, a 52 week build time line would then ensue. So the CFS board have announced that with a bit of luck and forward planning we could be in the new ground for the start of the 2012/13 season if all goes to plan

It is in the hands of Wilson Bowden and Squibb and Davies and the inspector.

I am sure that both businesses along with ourselves will be glad of the publicity generated by a media capture on the demolition. However this really needs to be tied into the publishing of the Local Plan or the planning application. The chimneys are due to come down over the next couple of weekends and so the timing might not be quite right.
