A shame that Burton stopped up, that’s the only blot on the copybook

Yes agreed, always a good day out there and local'ish.

Just hope Crawley don't go up now from a personal point of view, as its only a half hour drive away for me.

92nd min goal for Maidstone to go 2-1 up.

Glad Maidstone won. Not a lover of Averley after they beat Lewes to the final play-off place at the end of last season by the narrowest of margins possible (+1 goals scored!).

Presumably if Bromley go up they’ll have to spend a chunk of their increased revenue on ripping up and laying a new pitch?

Yes, as did Sutton a couple of seasons ago.

Think that Halifax fan suggested they’d need one of those hybrid pitches where artificial fibres are woven into the grass turf if they hope to gain entry into the EFl and still share it with Rugby. Of course the local council owns it so it would be their investment.

Lewes FC had a £750,000 lottery grant for one of those hybrid pitches 2 years ago and its like a billiard table. They have only had 1 postponement in that time.

I went a week ago and it looks the same as it did in August. For anyone who's the slightest bit interested, highlights here: https://www.youtube....h?v=Nj6TZw_Otfo

He's making himself look silly. The evidence on here is clear to see. I didn't speak to a single Town fan who had any issues whatsoever with us doing what we did. Maybe the London supporters club have their own separate views.

Speaking as a member of the East Sussex Supporters Club (members: 1), I was pretty miffed we fielded our youth team, don't know why we couldn't have played 3/4 fringe players and made a game of it. And it was ****ing freezing!
