Is is though - you really think an organisation has bias like you keep suggesting? What basis do you have or is it just a massive chip on your shoulder?

You having a laugh or summat? The national league have shown bias on many occasions

I don't have an opinion either way on this issue. One side says the NFL are biased to the southern clubs and CPS says they aren't. The way I see it neither side have shown any evidence to back up their claims. So please feel free to provide the evidence and try to convince me one way or the other.

They?re certainly biased towards certain clubs, as the excellent documentary available on YouTube re the dispersion of the Covid compensation monies clearly showed.

How can you show they aren?t?
It?s just naive ignorance to keep accusing people of things with no evidence just because of a chip on a shoulder

You could show that whatever happens in the south is reciprocated in the north

I didn't say they were biased towards Southern clubs, I said that it's down to who you know. I can't see any feasible reason for allowing the Southend saga to carry on as it. How long should a takeover be allowed to rumble on? Would it have been allowed to happen if it was one of the Southern clubs who make the numbers up in the League?

They're incompetent full stop. But to suggest any bias along geographic lines is fanciful at best.

They've made some very strange decisions in our time in the league and the Covid money hand out stuff has never really fully been explained as to why it was done that way and seem to massively benefit certain teams. There does seem to have been an distinct southern feel, if not almost London feel for the National League, during our time down there although strangely next seasons National League doesnt seem as bad partly due to who went down out of it perhaps. That said 10 teams from next seasons National League North are south of Chesterfield purely because of the amount of southern teams in the setup below the National League. Oxford City won NLS and then have been relegated and plonked in National League North. Needham Market are miles from anywhere in the North setup and will have some very long away days...their closest away game is 90mins away in Peterborough!

It will always have the National North/South problem as below that level there is the 3 into 2 scenario of the Northern Premier League(north & north Midlands Teams), Southern League (south Midlands, East Anglia, north west London and south Western teams) and Isthmian League (oddly also East Anglia, South East & London), depending who get promoted & relegated someone will always have to switch between NL North & South if they are more northern than the teams further south for balance of numbers. Teams like Oxford City will always fall foul as they are 'South Midlands' they might find themselves moved again the following season (if they don't get promoted back up) depending who drop out of the National League being further north than they are to screw everything up again.
"Do you think I'm here for your amusement" & good riddance to bad rubbish

Very true and the only solution would be to have a 3rd ?regional? conference division but that would not work with 6 clubs been relegated or the farce of inter division play offs

That was in the Football League not the National League.

Gateshead we?re relegated because they had breached the league's rules on financial reporting and permitted loans, and Southend haven?t- they have faced winding up petitions
A new hope.

The Premier League only has 5 northern clubs next season - this southern bias has got to stop.
