You're right, we've all been offered a rushed through experimental vaccine, some are concerned and haven't taken it up.
Right or wrong, that's their informed decision/opinion which they're entitled to. The government indicating that they will impose restrictions to what the unvaccinated can do is, in my opinion a disgrace and an affront to free speech and democracy and choice.
Remember Blair not revealing if his newborn will be having the MMR vaccine that many believed was linked to autism?
Free country, free speech, free choice, my bottom.
You are right... it is your choice... so I will give my experience.
I'm 51 now (god help me), and just before Xmas came down with Covid, and so did the wife (very much of the opinion 'its over-hyped is Covid' she said...), and my stepson.
You can argue the toss of the vax being experimental (I don't believe it's as experimental as people think - delivery mechanism is tried and trusted for decades) but I cannot imagine it being worse or even close to the hell my family went through.
I was borderline on the O2 level. Called 111, and they had an ambulance at my door in 15mins, I sounded so bad.. 2 days later, they did the same for my wife, she was far worse, and we ended up buying a powered inhalator with stuff to open up her airways. At this stage my stepson was looking after us both, and I have to say she was in a poor state, but the paramedics were adamant she'd be better at home because she was very borderline for ventilation, and 50% of ventilated patients never got out of hospital alive. She also had pneumonia as a result.
Took me a month to get back to normal... My wife took over 2. Scans by specialist showed damage to her bronchi etc. She's never smoked etc...
So, when I see people moaning about restrictions - by all means flout them, but keep the hell away from everybody else.
I wouldn't wish my experience on my worst enemy...seriously.
