Well here's one (trigger warning: it's a good honest and unbiased Beeb report): https://www.bbc.co.u...t-arts-53006006

And as said, now not touched by proper platforms.

A genuine enquiry, though. We know most advertisers don't associate themselves with GeeBeebies, either because the audience is too small or the propaganda it peddles, but does it carry the same appeals from charities seen on mainstream teevee? Save the Children, Wateraid, Unicef and the like?

Joking aside it obviously panders to a certain demographic, so I just wondered if these organisations bother given it's attitudes towards needy foreigners...

“We know most advertisers don’t associate themselves with GB news”…do we, or is that more made up gumph you wish to pass off as fact?

Well I’ve just this very minute watched an advertisement section on that very channel..

Jet 2 holidays….very family friendly and a main stream advertiser.
Funeral Plans…pretty much a staple of all advertisement slots nowadays
Furniture store…well I suppose even us right wingers need a sofa to sit on or a bed to sleep in.
Money comparison site…again pretty much usual advertising fayre
Appeal for donations from a prostrate cancer charity…very worthy cause and hopefully something that we can all stay clear of regardless of political leaning.
Aegean islands holidays ad….well we all like a bit of sun don’t we?
Weather forecast sponsored by BOXT boilers, a well known firm and sponsor of Notts Forest I believe.
Next break featured an ad for the Sky tv security cam system…

Well I might have missed them but I didn’t see the adverts for where to buy replica SS uniforms, setting up donations to the BNP (do they still exists), or where to buy DVDs of “Come Fly With Me”.

They advertise that weight loss clinic on every commercial break, that one always makes me cringe and the watch company advertise predominantly as well.

I don’t blame GBN for boycotting charity advertisements either, most of us already know what a huge con they are.

Any charity that can afford to advertise on prime time tv (on any channel) certainly don’t need to be asking for donations from the likes of us anyway so kudos to GBN for telling the charities to get knotted.

I tend not to watch the woke news outlets, like the BBC, but neither have I seen any reports, or indeed Nigel himself saying he’s been banned from those platforms. Happy to be proven otherwise.

And now we learn the victim of GeeBeebies abuse, Ava Evans, is recieving a torrent of social media threats.

What a wonderful set of supporters that right wing propaganda platform has.

But hey, get ready for more victimhood and bigots bingo from them...

PS: why aren't the Mail-esque media screaming headlines condemning this as they condemned Gazza Lineker? Why aren't the long list of tory MP's associated with it now distancing themselves?

Are you ok?

I think you’re seeing issues, where they’re aren’t any. The net does have that effect sometimes. Sometimes I just take a break.

I’m good- just triggered by that idiot who belittled and questioned my service record from behind his keyboard.
Should rise above it but he’s exactly what’s wrong with this country. All hate and bile.

Distancing themselves from what, GB news?, why should they distance themselves from the platform?
A presenter has made vile remarks and has been quickly suspended and taken off air, likewise the show host, you know the quick action that you so often laud your party for when people step out of line and an investigation is ongoing. Yet that’s not enough for you, you seemingly now want everyone to disown the platform, a legitimate news feed, why don’t you disown Labour when bad eggs are discovered, or is it the usual case of wanting to silence those who don’t have your views?

Comparing GBN to BBC

Quick summary.

GBN presenter makes an unpleasant comment, channel apologise and the presenter gets cancelled.

BBC hire a pedo newsreader, have numerous complaints about his disgusting behaviour towards teenagers, keep him on air for as long as possible, try and brush it under the carpet and basically try and repeat the Jimmy Saville cover up.

Trying to figure out how Beeb fans think they have the moral high ground here if anyone wants to enlighten us because I’m thinking that asking a teenage crackhead for explicit photos is far worse than saying ‘I wouldn’t shag her’ about an obnoxious woman.

I’ll keep my eye in the ads now.

Ad on the website for Honda cars. You know that mainstream motor company
Ad during News break for help for ex Gurkha serviceman, voiced by Joanna Lumley.
Ad for Gin, sadly none for a good Shiraz yet.
Ad for Wowcher, the popular discount service who advertise on all platforms.

Saw 30 mins last night - was brilliant.
-Jim Davison endorsing the Tory mayor candidate (but having no idea of her name)
- Adam Brooks saying Dan Wootton was a man’s man and a hero
-Jim McDonald from Coronation Street (20 years ago) giving his views on Libya

Wonderful stuff…..

What’s been lost in this is that what started all this off is a discussion between Geoff Norcott and Ava Evans about male suicide on the BBC. Fox has managed to totally derail this, which is a real shame.
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Personally I thought it was an odd way for Mr. Fox to announce his homosexuality but I'm happy for him regardless.

Ah, sorry, forgot whataboutery.

Victimhood and whataboutery.

Always the default defence.

But mate, seriously, stop digging.

Just look at who's on your side again.

And y'can save the desperate attempts to legitimise your propaganda platform of choice, too. It's not me saying commercial revenues are unsustainable, it's the GeeBeebies balance sheet.

Meanwhile we still await even a hint of the condemnation screamed at Lineker from the usual suspects...
