With all due respect to all posters, regarding new signings, quality of etc, we really do have to look a little lower than previous years due at least to league standing.

Agree with what your saying but why not ( for where we are think big ). Why not encourage some decent players to come to us ( maybe drop in class ) and big up the future possibilities. If we get some decent lads together and get out this league who knows where the future may take them.

A couple of points spring to mind....
The offer we made him must have been a low one if Barrow have trumped it
Surprised he has headed north rather than south
Evatt has seen him play, so must have seen something we didn't.
