Welcome back mate, you’ve been missed…some would say “like a hole in the head” but hey ho..
Rowe said it was an impact injury, ie dead leg I think, similar to that of McCourt, both players to be assessed prior to Tuesdays game so fingers crossed nothing too serious.

He doesn't fool me.
He's itching to have a go at Loach, but he needs a lead in.

That happened right in front of us and Evan's knew what he was doing as Miller ripped him to peices in the playoff game and he got nowhere near the ball a very cynical tackle

Got to agree with this.
Evans knew what he was doing, going straight through Miller.
It was at least a booking, but being only minutes into the start of the game probably saved him.
Keith Hackett was apparently there yesterday, would have been interesting for his thoughts !

Another game without a CFC booking.
This can't be coincidence, and it's obvious that JR has banned bookings whilst we have so many injuries. So the question has to be asked.....why does he think that collecting bookings is a good tactic when we have a full squad but not when we haven't?

Some of our players have been booked for offences which don't consistently result in refs brandishing yellows. Very few have been of the nature of which Evans escaped a booking yesterday with his foul on Miller. We've picked up unnecessary bookings for petulance and I would think that JR hasn't been happy about that whilst these are the easier sort to try and avoid.
The player who concerned me most yesterday was King. He unnecessarily got involved when Ashmore and Tshimanga were having words over the penalty award and, again, in the aftermath when Evans received his second yellow. He was clearly up for it yesterday but he is now playing in a position for which we have no cover at all for so reigning it in a bit would do no harm. Other than that I can't really recall anything that deserved a card from any of our players.

Simply take one for the team when you have the players to cope with the suspension.

King seemed to gesture to Evans to leave the field. Maybe he also told him to f off after what he did to Miller..

Every schoolboy goalkeeper playing for the under 13's on a Saturday morning who lets a weak shot through his legs, let's the ball bounce over his head for a goal, drops the ball from a corner, or scuffs a goal kick to the centre forward on the edge of the penalty area, can take comfort that even the professionals can get it wrong.

Just watching the highlights and King himself ran and shoved both Ashmore after the penalty decision and Evans after his red card. Both utterly needlessly and other refs could have judged each incident worthy of a yellow fof King. Silly really.

He made a fantastic save in the first half, low down to his right.
I think it was 1-0 at the time and could have drastically changed the course of the game had they scored at that point.
That’s the harsh reality of being a keeper, I suppose.
Everyone remembers the clanger and the terrific save is quickly forgotten.
