more melodrama!
As long as we go up I am happy, would be great to win the division but it's not the be all and end all

In the lower leagues the title is a bonus, a 'nice to have' if you will.
Rotherham only scraped third last year and look how they are doing now. Who won the title will be forgotten come August.

No, but say Scunny went the rest of the season unbeaten and just pipped us at the post - you wouldnt begrudge them the title or be that disappointed then would you?
As an aside, I noticed last night that Ladbrokes have us odds-on for the title for the first time (could still get 7/4 at betfred). They are generally seen as the shrewdest of the large bookmakers so maybe they know something that some of us more pessimistic fans dont!

Well it wouldn't be soul destroying but I'd be disappointed we couldn't beat a side who have looked nothing but ordinary both times we've played them.

its not melodrama though is it its just a desire to see our team win,i think its a very modern day british attitude to just accept something as just being good enough,of course promotion is a job well done but that wasnt the question was it,the question was based on our current standings would you just accept promotion or would you take a chance on winning....so i will ask again cartman
option 1) promotion today but not as champions
option2)The chance for the best team in the league to prove themselves champions and go for the title.

We looked ordinary on Saturday but I dont think Wycombe are thinking they should be above us in the league.

no i wont be upset, the question is hypothetical,i just cant understand people who would settle for 2nd best.

As it stands at the moment with automatic promotion looking more and more assured I would suggest that both options are covered in any case!

Although I still feel after the last title there was a massive underwhelming feeling as we were so bad in league 1.
All that hard work gone to waste .
That's why I value the JPT win as better for me that the list title (in terms of personal rather than the actual achievement)
