. Burslem actually wasnt a bad place when i first moved to stoke in 1987 but having lost all its industry and markets etc the shops started closing and now its pretty grim. Not the best of the Stoke 6 towns thats for certain. They filmed a zombie film a few years ago here in Stoke......in Hanley. Called "The Girl with all the gifts" with Glenn Close and Gemma Arterton....... not seen it but apparently quite good....... lol
