Yes we can use 5 out of 7 but, in reality, I think that’s more like 5 out of 6 outfield players as most likely we’ll have a keeper on the bench.

Any road up, injuries in the latter part of season serve to point out the necessity to have sufficient cover in one of the most important areas of Cooks set up. As such, I think there is room for Banks and another.

He’s made it clear in the post-match interview that the only place he wants to be next season is here. I hope he will be.

Gateshead been booted out of the playoffs due to not have a 10yr tenure on their ground. Won’t be replaced so Solihull land on their feet and are straight through to the semi finals.

Barnet’s position is interesting. They have announced plans to move to a new stadium but it doesn’t yet even have planning permission. I wonder what guarantees as to their future home have prevailed!

Yes, probably poor isn’t the right word. However I suppose when his standards have been so high it’s noticeable when he hasn’t been as effective.

    Original words duly eaten!

Nobody seems to have mentioned Oldaker or Quigley!

Seriously it has to be Naylor. Apart from anything else his goal tally for someone in his position is amazing. However I really hope he can recover his form because he has been poor for too many games now, if he can't we are in trouble.
Honourable mentiones also for Mandy, Tyrer, Grigg (who apart from his goals does so much often unappreciated work), Dobra and Colclough (who has been a huge miss). Banks, despite being inconsistent, has also had some memorable moments, notably the thirty yard goal. And Grimes too deserves a mention.

Naylor has at no stage been poor. Not quite as effective of late but never poor.

shame. Bonnyman sticks up £50 at his end, and I'll match your £50 to make it worthwhile... maybe a few others could chip in and Ashgate Hospice could do very nicely when he wins, which of course he will...

To be fair, if he embarasses himself and does it I'll pay the £50....maybe Grigg could run in a suit and shoes rather than running gear for Bonnyman to give him a chance?

I don’t know about Grigg running in a suit. He could run in a straight jacket and beat Bonnyman whose pinnacle of athletic prowess was nearly 50 years ago at Holmgate Infants School in the annual egg and spoon race. He was third if my memory serves me.
