With more and more people stating they are disillusioned with the what's on offer currently at the proact, what are people actually doing with their time on a Saturday?

In my opinion things are gradually going to get worse over the next few years with more debt and anger and more people not attending etc.

Would people genuinely be interested in setting up a football team for next season? (Obviously not a pheonix club or anything, but as something to do on a Saturday and actually run our own football club, sort of Bobs Board football club etc) I'm sure we could raise enough between us and have a fair few fans come to watch.

Any thoughts? We couldn't really do much worse and it would be quite fun.

I've been groundhopping mainly and spending more time up in Manchester than I would have normally. Saving a fortune to be honest having been home & away for the past 10-12 seasons. I am at Charlton on Saturday + planning on doing Colchester as it's a new ground though.

Kids for £1 against Bristol Rovers at the end of November.
Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.

Look we have a team, the sad state of affairs is that the phoenix club to'ther side of M1 will be obove us in the league.
I ain't got the inclination or years left to get behind such a thought.

I've spent the last god knows how many years travelling from Grimsby every other week to watch us come rain, shine, the Bunkum and the good.

Last Saturday I still travelled but took the kids to Bolsover Castle, I love coming back to my home town but no longer will I give my hard earnt cash to a group of people who seem to be squandering it away with no viable explanation as to why and then accusing people like me for it disappearing.

My absence may well not do any good long or short term for a club I love so much but quite frankly it doesn't seem to be doing anything but fund interest into a Yorkshire Bank account so I'm out

Left around the hour mark last week expecting to be sat in a sparsely populated 'Spireite'.

Unfortunately we were far from the first to walk out and quickly joined by many, many more.

Sad thing was the company in there, though gallows-esque in nature, was preferable to events at the Proact.

Me and the missus have always enjoyed socialising on Sat'di afternoons when Town're away. Maybe following my beloved club's fortunes via some pub TV or other will extend to home games, too.
