The signing of hall yesterday was a good one however i think we may be getting carried away with the current speculation, Where has this Ugarte rumour come from? i dont think that their is any truth in it what so ever, as for this international, well we all hope its sammy but the chances are it will be a ethiopian u21 player or somet, i just hope im wrong.

I sort of wish they wouldn't pre-empt signings on the website. ****** the moaners and their desire to know every last detail; don't say anything about signings until they've been made.

Remember what happened last time we tempted fate?

Fair comment SpireiteDan, Ugarte is destind for the Championship and anyone who thinks different is setting themselves up for a fall.
After we had a bid accepted for Sammy on deadline day only for Hoddle to stop it leaves me to believe that Sammy Clingan is STILL a genuine possibility partuicularly if Hoddle is allowed to sign a few.
Also I wouldnt rule out Fulop for the season.

Is it fair to say that after signing a new contract last Sept/Oct time that Evo was probably our highest paid player?
If that is the case, along with the cash influx from the Evatt transfer, then there may well be a little bit more in the wages pot than we dare think!!

I think you are probably right, if Evo wasn't the highest paid player he would certainly have not been far off.

Personally i can't see this Ugarte speculation being anything other than wishful thinking, but it certainly makes for a superb rumour. :)
