Wage bill obscene?

Just read that Chelseas wage bill £1.14 billion for last season, how much for next season? Premier league average £40 million. IMO it's totally out of control there must be some of the clubs in deep debt

Imo its about time a wage cap was introduced in every single country and in every league, then players wouldnt have an option and have to settle for what they get, these players will ruin football if it goes on like this......

If they put a wage cap on in our league we wouldn't be able to reach it :D

No, i dont think any team outside the premiership would, although it would make more sense to have one rule for all (if the FA's reading! :D )

Sorry if you hadn't noticed Dan but it's already all but ruined anyway. Not so much at our level but true competition has been stifled.

that is 1,140,000,000

They actually spent 114 million!!

More suprising I thought was Rotherham at over 4 million.

Figures say wages and salaries so I assuem they include all the backroom and office staff etc, but 4 million with their turnover is a lot
