A Big Week

We're at the crossroads – if we ever have a chance to get out of this division, it's this season – s--t or bust. We have the best strikers in non-league, the best manager in non-league, the insurance monies, the Chelsea bonus... and a great squad playing great football.
Get through the next week with a full squad intact, including Tshimanga, and a hopefully even a couple of additions, and it's all systems go for the rest of the season.
Lose Kabby or other important players and we could lose a lot of momentum and belief... not just this season, but if we fail to go up this year, Rowe will be in-demand, and we're back to square one.
No-one needs reminding of the season under Cook when we had Doyler firing on all cylinders, Daniel Johnson almost signed, and we let that momentum fade. Then Cookie left, and bit by bit the squad fell apart.
Hope we can buckle in, hold our ground, and keep our eyes on the prize. COYB

It’s going to be an interesting second half of the season but in JR we trust.

I'm fully behind the rallying call, but I'm really miles away from you in your definition of 'square one'. Think back to the total despair before the Trust and imagine if the Trust's bid for CFC had been rejected. That's my 'square one'. If we fail, in spite of everybody's best efforts, to get promotion then we'll be at square 100, not 1.

I know everyone does it but I find it funny that accusations fly when other teams bale out from covid/injuries but when their team does it, it is justified.
Like our outbreak caused comment. We had to pull out of the Trophy when a bit of progress in that completion would’ve been handy for returning players and a good chance to beat County missed. I know the Maidenhead game being called off wasn’t our doing but that hardly served us.well and neither did the fragmented fixture list in December

Maybe Yeovil as part of a swap deal, which caused the delay whilst Khan pondered it?

I don’t agree, it’s been more than just the Maidenhead game. He’s not been bad, but I don’t think we’ve seen anywhere near the best of him yet I think there’s a lot more to come. I’d like to see him given a run in central midfield like at the start of the season where he was outstanding at times.
