They don't Tim you’re correct, though 89 points in a season by them has only been bettered twice They don't deserve to go up with a pathetic mentality like that

Clutching at straws a bit Karl, bless. Preston will be very much up for this game come Thursday, and so will their fans. It's a second chance for them. Let's hope the boys can handle Garner, Beckford and Johnson.

Deep down I don't think we'll do it over the two legs, so yeah clutching at straws just a bit, lol.
Fire power usually proves the difference and they have a lot more than us. We really do need to put in two of our seasons top draw performances to have a chance over the two legs, other than them being really out of sorts that is (we can all hope).

The home match was distorted by Hird's instant dismissal and we didn't do badly in the circumstances. There's no reason why we cant go to second leg with all to play for. Col U have just beaten them and so can we. I guess they would be happy with a draw on Thursday. The away fixture looks very hard.

Totally agree on both of these. IF we are in it for the away leg we can win it as they playoffs are a lottery.

Interesting that Cook seemed to rue not having a striker to put chances away after the Sheff U game. Since Doyle left Clucas has stepped up and we have had more goals from midfield, but its been against the odds that we have made the play offs. Maybe not having a recognised striker makes it harder for teams to mark/nullify us when we attack with pace.

You could be right, we certainly do have our strengths, just hope it's enough. One leg at ours and I'd be quite confident, but over two legs with not much rest between is going to be seriously hard work to overcome (should make a very intriguing battle tbf)

TBH I think we have the quality, certainly in the home leg, to win if Gboly plays instead of Gardner.

Harrison in the away leg? Who knows.
