I`ve watched Chesterfield since the early `70s and if the above turns out to be true then I would certainly say it`s possibly the best close season arrivals I`ve ever seen.

Wud choose sammy ahead of marton if we only got 1 (dnt get me wrong both wud be tremendous!) wud be a bit worried if gaz davies, nivo n allot were our only senior centre midfielders on books come august 9th...!

Thing is we haven't a clue who we are after,if we can't meet this so called international then its a no no,and as for Sammy i've almost given up hope.

I'd glad we dont know wu we are after because if it was revealed and the talks were in early stages then we could lose him wih him being an 'exciting' signing

Do whatever we can to sign sammy. I'll start off by pledging £20 for players fund per month...reply if you'll pledge (any amount) and we'll try and get the board to notice how much we want the wolves brilliant reserve.

I'd put some money in the players fund, could commit per month but I'd certainly bung a load in whenever I can afford it!!

If we could get this int plus Fullop and sammy then I'd be delighted and I'd probably be the best season for transfers since Beckett, pollitt, tuttle etc signed for the DIV 3 promotion season
