It is time barred so the police are not investigating it. That is obvious to anyone to be frank as there have been several publicised Tory newspaper accusations in the last year about Labour MPs. You think she is guilty cos you are anti Labour and suck up “She said to a neighbour I’m the Landlord”. Why you fear Reds under the Beds who tip up to a property that they are fiddling tax on and openly admit to someone who they have lived next to, that they are the “landlord” ,makes me smile. They are all thick surely. Except she didn’t, did she? CGT? Read your post that I responded to.
I couldn’t care about your political views, cos as you know I consider you to know little about politics, but I do get miffed about your claims to be objective. You’re not. I think you were probably bullied by a Skinner or your dad was a Scab. In truth I don’t know but don’t play the uncommitted. And stop jumping when you’re found out. Who started this thread?

You are a nice man. I think she is guilty on the CGT thing as I understand a bit about CGT, and know as a married couple you can only have one PPR even if you live in separate houses, unless you are separating and the marriage is being ended. On the electoral fraud, bit pointless investigating if she cant be prosecuted but nothing surprises me with the police, and some would say it should be "within 12 months of the offence coming to light" rather than "12 months of it being committed"....

You clearly could care about my political views as you post on everything i say. As for found out, what's been found out, except I'd suggest that you were on the sauce last night.

No my dad wasnt a scab, he was retired by then. Technically redundant but chosen so he didnt have to do safety work during the strike. Another fail on your part.

Have a nice day.

Are you going to say the same to BD, or do you save those comments for special people only...

Another Tory MP defects to Labour.

In fact a doctor quoting an NHS barely fit for purpose as his main motivation.

Won't need a GE at this rate...

Surely as he has defected there should be a local by election... at least isnt that what is what would be said if it was going the other way ;)

As I have said before though, Streeting does have the right view on the NHS - support it with the private provision as the NHS cant cope with the demands on it anymore....

Also seeing a growing movement for solving the recruitment and retention crisis by offering higher cash now with lower pension provision to balance the books - although of course lower pension contributions now would really show up how we havent recognised the liabilities anywhere and they are being paid for by todays contributions...

Anyway, glad that he has highlighted the unsustainability of NHS funding. I am wondering why he has suddenly got all philosophical about the NHS when he has already said he is stepping down at the next election. I suspect its more politicing than real care...

Interesting - doesn't seem to much of an ideological gap between the two parties ATM does there with these defections? Something for you to think about? Nah...

Y'know, your post was actually a basis for reasonable discussion until the final snipe.

Shame, really...

ideologies?
the reason they are so close is because they are both chasing populism....

If Labour are going to fully costs everything and we already have the highest tax take in a generation, then what more can they actually do than the current incumbents?

There's really no need for us to hash this out again. We both know where the other one stands.

Khans tweet today

Make no mistake: the Tories’ introduction of photo ID is designed to stop younger & historically marginalised people from voting. Do not let them.

Suppose yeah when you’re sat on the dole voting for labour or going to an activist march about prejudices that don’t exist because you’re one of life’s victims it’s easy to forget your ID

In my opinion election projections may as well be made up, but this would be a hilarious result

This is what I could never and still can't understand - some on the Left would rather see a right wing government than a Labour one that's compromised.

To put it in Town terms, it's like wanting us to lose unless we're playing the team and tactics they demand...

Sky News projection, yes one of those trusted media outlets, if yesterdays voting patterns were to be replicated at the next general election then Labour would win 294 seats, 32 seats short of a majority….that, for Labour supporters, would be nothing short of a disaster, an absolute disaster. I’m looking forward to the view of pro Labour supporters on here who have put so much sway on polls and forecasts that predict a Labour landslide, on this new take on it.
Suddenly my interest in the next election has been poked!
Make no mistake if the Tory backstabbers hadn’t forced BJ out and listened to those bull crap party gate findings they’d be looking at another cake walk. Sunak reaps what he sowed!

Even as a starmer loyalist you must be able to see that the labour right nuking the party to take control and then proceeding to get less vote share than in 2017, against a Tory party even weaker than it was under teresa may, is a humourous turn of events? Really wouldn't worry about it though, very much doubt this is accurate - Labour will still get a massive majority.

As always, maybe if the current iteration of the LP offered the left something (anything!) that they wanted, they'd be more inclined hold their noses and vote for them. Personally, I'm not voting for a party that has moved so far from my own politics that they don't represent me at all on the basis that they aren't the tories.

Good example of this has been today whenever a council has been lost in an area with a higher than average muslim population every labour member or labour-affiliated journalist has been basically saying 'oh well, lotta muslims in this area, that's why we lost' as if muslims are some sort of 5th columnist hindrance to democracy rather than citizens of this country who want to vote for a party that to represent them politically.
