Paul Walker - Football Heaven

He does not just say Chesterfield fans give us a call, goes into depth about why they should call and today good chat with Tommy, followed by a conversation with a Donny defender and he asked how he saw the match earlier on in the Season and what was it like to play against Doyle etc etc.
I know I have been a bit scathing recently but if he continues to broadcast the programme on a regular basis its worth a listen.

I only generally listen when Paul Walker is on - he is the best by far on that show

No coincidence that RS's sudden interest comes in the days leading up to them covering Us v Barnsley live.
Let's see if it's a Town or Barnsley representative sitting alongside the commentator.

Seeing that I never listen to the radio, I agree.

I have to say I wholeheartedly agree. It couldn't really be less important. What can they offer me that I can't get elsewhere?

People of my age group, or older, would remember a time when Radio Sheffield was the opnly station would have covered CFC, so regardless of the name there is a history of town fans tuning into RS

I can remember when the only way to hear the result of a town away match was to tune in to the BBC Light Programme station at
10pm and HOPE they read that evrnings results out. Sometimes when there were only a few matches they didnt bother with the results
When Radio Sheffield came on air to actually hear a report from the away ground sometimes was unbelievable

Great opportunity to keep SUFC out of the limelight and dampen the flames of their how to burn bridges with community, sponsors and patrons campaign...
Cynical? Moi? Never!
