The trophy being presented added to that feeling.

It felt like the right time to do it though even with the slight backlash from the few that unfortunately couldn't be there
Here we go again!

Yesterday did feel like we have no games left to play this season didn't it.

For obvious reasons but it has felt strange since January time when we opened up that massive lead. However, I shall perform the ultimate sacrifice and try and enjoy the trip to York and the last two home games.

Apart from the obvious few hostile clubs, The friendliness of the genuine football banter with genuine opposing fans in the away pubs. We wont get that in L2.

Agreed, we've been to some great little places, Dorking was always very welcoming, the supporters bars at Eastleigh and Havant and Waterlooville were great, to name just a couple, there's some proper welcoming clubs and fans in this league, L2 won't so accommodating...

Good riddance to the NL. The one good thing has been able to wear your colours with pride away from home without the hint of any trouble.

For me I won't miss the comedy refs in this league, the better one's go up to Div.2. I won't miss some of the scummy tactics of 3 or 4 clubs, I still maintain Mnonga was told to take Tshimanga out.

I won’t miss having extra wrestling thrown in for the price of my ticket. That Sass-Davies yesterday was constantly pulling shirts, right in front of the inert liner, and that happens every week. I hope it has not become acceptable under Real League rules too in the time we’ve been away.
These go to eleven.

Certainly won’t miss Oldham..
Entitled club living in the past.
Horrible fans and a horrible place to visit.
May they rot in the now exited ‘hell hole’ for many season to come.

Our performances have picked up a lot of new fans for both home and away games this last couple of seasons. For these new fans there are a lot of new grounds to tick off so our away following should be pretty good. Welcome to the Gillingham etc experience lads.

The non league playoff system is another positive. The EFL should adopt it

Jeff King. He’s still our best right-back and you won’t change my hungover fragile mind.

    Music (the louder,faster the better).

In the past 6yr the standard of football has got so much better. The management in this league is so much more professional and the management of the clubs is so much more professional (ofcourse there is always the odd exception). Theres an amount of honest, hardworking individuals in this league that just wouldn't get a look in higher up the pyramid because not all EFL chairman dare take a punt on them. Player wise there is ofcourse some dinosaurs that are after one last paycheck (Norwood) but for every dinosaur there is a Conn-Clark. These past couple of seasons I've enjoyed the unpredictability of the league, with the exception of us this season anybody is capable of beating anybody. I will now watch the NL matches in a different light and will continue to watch it whenever I can.

That's what I'll miss.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Not a lot.

I would have liked us to have been drawn against Leek Town in either cup competition.

Instead of Watford, I wanted Stoke in the FA Cup. I think we would have beaten them and given them the ignominy of losing to a non league club.

Having to scroll so far down the BBC football page to find our score/results.

The only positive is that it has made me visit some far flung grounds I wouldn't have otherwise bothered to, such as Fylde, Weymouth and Dover, to name but a few.

Crap pitches, dodgy stadiums, poor facilities, no crowds, getting turned over by part time players, who the chuff wants that?
