Brilliant, does anyone remember the clipping from a Lincoln paper in the crooked spireite years ago, it said something along the lines of 'phil Stant thundered a sh i t against the bar'.

I recall reading that the Editor of "The Times" was imprisoned in the late 19th century when it published a photograph captioned "Queen Victoria pees over Clifton Suspension Bridge"! Things seem to have moved on since those days!

Spot on. 15 bob a week for delivering to 120 houses, 7 days a week, starting at "lower" Chatsworth Road, all the side streets up to Barker Lane, then up Old Road, down Heaton Street, back along Chatsworth to Walton Road and home for my Hovis breakfast. Slave labour and I loved every minute of those 5 years. Only way I could afford to follow the Spireites in those days!
