hi guys thinking of buying a house on hady hill from skegby ( i know youll all think its a good move ) but hady ok ? input appreciated

It is a long walk to the B2 NET Stadium but there are lots and lots of pubs along the way :D......

TBH, for Stag country Skegbys not as bad as its surrounding areas (Stanton Hill, Kirkby, etc) Used to play snooker there quite a lot.

true mate not as bad as other areas but been this way 20years now decided to come home . would that be the triple s ?

Yeah mate, used to go in there quite a bit, went there last year and its not changed at all in about 20 years.

been in the greyhound a few times but not recently seems to change landlords quite a few times.

Cheap ale though from what I remember. They`ve also got a new pool table in the main bar. The games room pool table was still 20p until a couple of years ago, its 40p now.

I live in Hady and it's fine

pretty quiet, close to town

no pubs though, closest are Hasland Hotel on Calow lane, The Bridge and Family Club at bottom of Hady Hill, Somerset in Calow and The Spital

The hill is a ****** to walk up

Spital is a walk away as well so you could go there, food's decent and really cheao
