Confined to the playoffs last weekend. Tamworth are champions.

Some of the decisions made by the officials do go beyond the pale but I would be ashamed if our media dept put something like this out.
  3. Bailey Hobson

He seems to have gone unnoticed today. Scored and won the penalty against the biggest spenders in the league. Got plaudits playing for Kiddie before coming back and worked his way into the team.

    He's a gem
  4. We Seemed To Have Stopped Spreading The Play.

    03 March 2024 - 12:20 AM

All season our main type of play was to spread the play from right to left, left to right, play it into the centre before spreading the play either way. Defences had absolutely no idea which side the cross would come in from. We dictated the play, pressed the opposition defence into making mistakes before bamboozling them into which direction the eventually cross would come from

    We've stopped doing that.

It's got nothing to do with teams sitting in because they've been doing that all season and we've still won, we've learned how to cope with teams that sit back and park the bus. But since the bad run has started we just seemed to have switched off with our attacking capabilities.

We're looking good now to be winning the title away at (the champions elect?) Oldham.
Hopefully it's a last minute winner (we don't do equalisers anymore) that sparks the celebrations that will surely leave a bitter taste in the mouths of the biggest club in this league....with the second biggest crowd average behind us.
