I went for the novelty as Jon said along with 20000 others. I had great curry after the game which was memorable. Missed the second appearance a couple of years later with a good few thousand others.

You are wasted on here. You should go into business as Metalhead the Mind Reader.

Its Metallilad.
But I expect you'd forgot that by the time you finished writing your reply.

First jpt i delayed flying out on holiday and flew out the following day to catch up with the rest. Went to London on the train with beers before and after and had a cracking day. Second jpt I drove down and was in and out of Wembley pretty quickly. Play off finals are different as there is more riding on it.

Pretty certain it’d have been our smallest Wembley following by a distance for an fa trophy final.
Only have to see the chaos with Gateshead to see what a prolonged run it does to a season. They’ve not lost many games to the weather so it is fa trophy games that have caused the issue. If we’d still been in it along with the Halifax fiasco it wouldn’t have been great.

Don’t agree, when bigger well supported clubs are involved, the attendances are impressive, in fact they are quite impressive when smaller clubs than us participate. Don’t see why we would have been any different.

They have lost loads to weather. What has caused Gateshead issues of late is that the had two games postponed to weather in April alone. They also have had by my reckoning at least three others postponed this year by weather. Admittedly one or two of those may well have been re-rearranged fixtures due to the FA Trophy and may not have been postponed if they had been played on their original date.

They 'lost' the original game at our place in the aftermath of the local floods last year.

You moaned like a btch about the JPT and kept telling everyone that you weren’t going.
Yet the win was one of the best experiences ever by most Spireites I’d wager

Yeah, great day out for the Chelsea and Watford brigade, you’d have loved it
