Yes I know so we are entitled to ask for 15% of capacity aren’t we? Which is 13,513? It’s not many more but it’s still another 300
Hence they are the only team that’s had the north stand this season from memory.
Or does that only apply for fa cup?

I suspect this is police\SAG getting involved and their antics here have caused us to get less and the early kick off.

Lot of bad blood still from the illegitimate point and the way they got in last August.

Agree, from what my uncle has told me we will get reinforment from Leicester firm and also potentially Rangers after we supplied them the Union Jack shirts but that one still needs confirming. He also said that when united and city have reinforced for Oldham in the past it has actually worked against them because they end up fighting between themselves due to being rivals

I wouldn’t think Utd & City fans would care two hoots about Oldham even for any potential trouble.
Most likely they won’t even know the game is being played, just like most of the media.

If a police/SAG initiative would the home ends(3off) have their capacities reduced pro rata?

Sorry Jon, just to clarify, the 15% thing does apply to national league games then? But it could be the SAG has got involved here and overruled it?

Come on Pete you should know, national league rules are never applied and are enshrined in a heap of dust underneath an Axminster.

Yep away teams can claim up to 15% of capacity as per this news story from CFC when they found out about it. League decided to do it on the eve of the season and after we'd offered up season tickets in there. Only really Oldham that it was an issue for.
https://chesterfield...-in-north-stand
Our problem is that in order to provide this we have to give them the North Stand so they get more than 15%. 15% of current Boundary Park capacity is just over 2000 so thats what we should get pending any reasonable but more likely debatable safety stuff etc. Be interesting to see if we get anything from CFC about why its under the 15%.

Nope wouldnt have thought so, it will be the away fans that are penalised etc.

Well yes, and add to that the fact it’s Oldham we are talking about here who can seemingly do what they like anyway without any retribution.

Undoubtedly. But the root cause of police/SAG involvement (if that is the case) was the drugged crazed behaviour of what will now be the home fans.
Common sense will not prevail.
