Starting with the most positive:

Win v Oxford, W v Oldham means we win it at Oldham if Barnet AND Bromley drop points Tuesday Night, or if either win and then fail to win on Saturday we win it without playing on Saturday Afternoon

Win v Oxford, D or L v Oldham means we cannot win it without Barnet dropping points in both games Tuesday and Saturday, which means we'd win it without playing if this happens. If Barnet win either of the games we'd have to wait until Halifax at the earliest

Draws or Defeats in both games over the next week, means we would need two defeats also for Barnet and Bromley to pick up no more than 1 point to win it Saturday at 5pm

Anything less than 3 points in the next 2 games coupled with 2 x Barnet victories means we probably wouldn't be able to do it Halifax and would need to win that to have a chance of winning it at Home to Borehamwood

Your first paragraph isn’t correct.

Barnet need to drop points but Bromley can only get 93 maximum so they’re irrelevant if we beat Oxford and Oldham.

Bromley dropped points last week, so that took them out of the equation really.

Bore them to bits is likely to be first home game as champions.

Welcome to the home of the champions Kabby. Stand up straight when applauding.

Got me all giddy this has

Part of me would love it to be at Oldham but that big terrace at Halifax (if they can get the game on) would be really fun too.

Not too fussy, for what it’s worth I think we will win tomorrow so will tee it up nicely for a big day out Sat

Think Halifax away would be better if it cant be at home purely for the chance of more fans to see it happen. In all honesty if it ends up being on Saturday then thats fine as well..i'll be in the Barrel on Brampton i suspect and will toast it all happening appropriately!

Luke Garrard thinks we’ll be Champions before we play them.

My prediction is we win it at home v Borehamwood.

Win tomorrow, 2 draws away.

Forget the permutations. Let’s just concentrate on winning the next game. Keep doing that and it will happen just as quickly as we win 3 of them or perhaps less.

So it is, I was trying to determine the difference between being able to win it at Oldham which requires Barnet to drop points tomorrow night, but as you say not necessarily Bromley provided we win both

I've been trying to find the earliest that the National league has been won. Does anybody have any idea who & when?

Other than Barrow in the covid season, it would probs be Luton, but don't know exactly when..

Football web has the answer somewhere, but it can be only done by manually checking a season and creating a date specific table. Every time I’ve looked, the earliest is after 43 games, which was 15 April for Luton in 2014.

It’s surely never been done before the end of the NL transfer deadline before or they’d have moved it.

Wasn't October 2023 by Oldham?
