The same thing was supposed to happen with the 'Blues on the Move' cash, but that was fifteen years ago...

Fair question as I would not have thought the sums raised by Alan will be that significant when compared against the £13.5 million costs of the stadium. Even if he were to optimistically raise £100k this is effectively a drop in the money needed.

Who knows? Why do we need a special account at all? Are these monies supposed to be going toward the new ground? Just same as the Blues on the Move was set up all those years ago to fund a new ground so where has all that gone? Does this too have a special account? You seem to think like me MP that something is wrong within the club where the ground is concerned. Has there been a run on tins of biscuits recently?

I would think by the time they've got around to selling the bogs off, £100K is a bit pessimistic
At least it will (should) stop the Hubbard being accused of cashing in on something that will never happen.
I'm keeping my receipts just in.

So they cant be accused of wasting this season AND the funds?
So it can be used to fund one or two quality signings ready for the new ground and a big promotion push?

Why what have I said?
The Blues on the Move was set up 15 or so years ago to fund a new ground move. How much money is in that special account and is it to be put towards the new ground build? It's alright Geoff I don't expect an answer

This is a valid point and if there was a clear statement where the use of this money was to be changed then can someone please clarify?
I agree with the fact that the 'ground move' money should be kept separate as so far I have 1 founder menber and 5 bricks paid for. If we don't move soon clearly I, like many others, will want my money back.
If Rico is still in charge at the end of January I will consider whether or not to make my next payment into the players fund. It would also give some encouragement to us loyal supporters and minor investors if we knew sooner rather than later who is the financial clout behind the club. Even us Lemmings have their limit!

No chance he will keep it even if the ground doesn't get built in the next 10 years. Down the drain I'm afraid. All this end of era stuff looks more like a smokescreen to me

This is an excellent post.
How would those loyal fans that've consistantly paid into the 'Players Fund' feel about more of their cash being handed over to a manager that's now almost universally rejected?

I thought that Blues on the Move was a lottery inspired by the successful Pools on the Move at Hartlepool. This was not about relocation but about moving their club forward. I thought we introduced it purely as a money making scheme rather than linking it to any new ground
