Bit random, but the barber in Hasland that I have gone to for years has unfortunately just closed due to ill health.

I have tried the one in Tesco and went to the newish one on Jawbones Hill/Derby road both were ok but I thought they were quite pricey at £15 for a a quick short back and sides, as my old one only charged £9.

I don't do poncy salons and am a tightarse when it comes to haircuts as I go every 3 to 4 weeks, so has anyone got any recommendations for a decent cheapish barber preferably South of the town?

Procutz in Hasland is good. Turn up and wait; late night Thursday til 7, avoid 2.30-3.30 as its chokka. £13, can be cheaper if it’s only a v quick trim!

I Use Grade 1 at the end of Whit Moor, between Hoods florist and the Axe Throwing place.

Nick owns/runs it and is a great guy, he used to have a older chap Steve working with him, but he's very poorly I gather so he's on his on for now (closes Tuesday IIRC).

Between £9-12 I think, depending on what you have done.

Beer fridge and a few optics, if you fancy a drink while you wait.

Skullshaver for me when I can be bothered, or something similar but less short when I cant!

I go to Ryan James in Brimington although less often than is called for. Several of the first-team squad also use him. Three days appointment and three walk-in.
